We are proud to be breeders of the mealworms we sell. With 2 years of experience in breeding, we ensure high-quality mealworms that meet the needs of our customers. We can also offer wholesale options for your retail pet store!

What should I do if I spot unusual white cocoons in my order?

If you notice any unusual white cocoons in your order, it's likely that some of the larger mealworms are pupating into beetles. While we make every effort to remove all pupae before shipping, sometimes things can happen during transport that results in their presence. To ensure your satisfaction, I always include extra mealworms in your order to compensate for any unexpected occurrences.

How are the mealworms packaged?

Live Mealworms are packed in a suitable shipping box to ensure their safety during transit. Each package is marked with 'handle with care' stickers to alert carriers to treat the box gently.

Will mealworms survive the shipping process?

Yes, mealworms will survive the shipping process. To ensure their well-being during transit, I include substrate/bedding and fresh apple slices in the containers, along with breathing holes for ventilation. I only ship them out on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays for overnight delivery across New Zealand. Please note that for rural addresses, it might take an extra day for delivery.

Do you offer pickup?

Currently, we do not offer a pickup service.

Are your mealworms suitable for human consumption?

Our mealworms are not for human consumption and are strictly for animal feed.
